Black Star Line’s Embrace Your Best Self Program (EYBS) has clarified what it means to enter the early stages of adulthood. EYBS has provided guidance and created a safe space for me to share my life experiences and challenges in safety. We have also learned about money management in ways that help us navigate the real world. What EYBS teaches is something I would never learn in school, but it is incredibly important. As I transition into adulthood, lessons like these ease the pressure and anxiety of not knowing what to do or who to turn to. As a young Black man moving on to the next chapter, I’m extremely grateful to have EYBS by my side.
